 During the old years leaders has been responsible for deciding the role of womn in the society.  During this years, men  have been the superior while have been midiocre. Society has this creed that women are sole laborers and household workers and they weren’t granted the same opportunity as men. In todays world, women can now do many things that are one time were considered offensive. Becuase of the many many amazing women and their fight to be treated equal, women now have a lot of opportunities that weren’t available before. Women would not be where they are today if they would not fight for their rights. The entire history of the right for women to be trated equal takes twist and turns but eventually turned out alright.

          One of the most awaited celebration in Vigan is ofcourse the Vigan Town Fiesta which is observed during Junuary 25 and is made to honor St. Paul the apostle. As obesred in the previous years Vigan City Fiesta is composed of arts and crafts exhibit, street dancing, carnival and other activities that celebrate the past of Vigan’s cityhood.                 This year Vigan City Town Fiesta is cancelled because of the pandemic, Bigueños is a bit gloomy because of the situations. Many activities are cancelled but the city government of vigan conducteda virtual activities like Trivia Nights and also they have mass which is shared thru faceboo live. Despite this pandemic Vigan City celebrates thanksgiving for the blessing and the grace that they have recieved and they still showed happiness and camaraderie despite the difficulties that we are all experiencing.

 This quarter I have learned many htings that  I never thougth I can do. I am always wondering how to do those things but luckily I have leraned all thos things. Doing tasks and working with the notepad app is such a exciting work. Doing such things makes me realize that there still a lot of things that i haven’t learned.  But also we can’t learn if we didn’t pass some trials, in this quarter one of my problem is the  lak of time doing many tasks, yes, i can say that doing html tags is fun but also it needs a lot of work. Typing tags isn’t easy it one of the most frustating work for me. But luckily I am able to pass those works productively with a lot of patience. Moving on I will continue to work on the things that i have learned to improve my skills anf ofcourse I will continue to lookback on the things that i know I need to improve. 

   Valentine’s Day is also known as the Feast of Saint Valentines, the saint of love and couples. Valentines day is usually celebrated by couples and also families. This day love ones come together to be close to one one another and proclaim their love for each other. Valentine’s day is used for adressmthe people who want o cooperate and build a good relationship and to make them feel prosperous and happy. Valentines day makes people create happy and good memories and to strengthen their knowledge on how will they make their relationship strong. Valentine’s day is a sign of true love. St. Valentine has sacrified his life to humanity and love among people. But nowadays almost half of the population of the world has changed the true meaning of love . they don’t make sacrifices for others they make others sacrifice for them. True love is something that does not put you in a cage, it is something that will set you free. 

  Every Ilocano looks forward to the yearly celebrated kannawidan because of its grand celebration of our culture. This festival the end of January celebrates the best of Ilocos Province. This is the time that every ilocanos gather together not just to celebrate their bounty harvest but also to show the tradition of every Ilocanos. This year Kannawidan Festival isn’t that grand compared to the previuos years because of COVID-19. Residents of Ilocos Sur made a simplier celebreation for the festival. The provincial government has announced strict health guidelines to observed during the celebration,   usually Kannawidan festival is celebrated for a month but sadly it will only last for a week this year. The provincial tourism office opened the trade fair and food court but there is an age limit and will be given a safe pass for those who will visit.   I’ve always been a big dreamer, so making a New Years resolution is a little challenging for me. I know that it’s better to make a SMART goal   but it’s challenging for me to find a realistic goal to follow in a year. I like to accomplish little goals, so using my past knowledge, (and a little bit of brain power), I came up with a SMART New Years resolution. I want to be a Teacher when I’m older, and I have been in many public speaking and declamation competitions as a kid; this has shaped me as a person. I think that if I hadn’t participated in these performances, I would probably be a little more shy. I am actually really used to being in front of people, and I’m not usually shy (when you come up and talk to me). Being in front of people just comes naturally to me, and I’m really comfortable with being in front of people and presenting in front of people. Many of us are bothered because of the modular learning platform for us to continue our educational training. This quarter had been tough for me, especially in the first weeks. Studying alone is not easy coz we are engaged in the usual way of learning. Another problem is the lack of proper equipment and internet connection. But as days go by we get to use in the new way of learning.
