New Year New Me

Image
I’ve always been a big dreamer, so making a New Years resolution is a little challenging for me. I know that it’s better to make a SMART goal   but it’s challenging for me to find a realistic goal to follow in a year. I like to accomplish little goals, so using my past knowledge, (and a little bit of brain power), I came up with a SMART New Years resolution. I want to be a Teacher when I’m older, and I have been in many public speaking and declamation competitions as a kid; this has shaped me as a person. I think that if I hadn’t participated in these performances, I would probably be a little more shy. I am actually really used to being in front of people, and I’m not usually shy (when you come up and talk to me). Being in front of people just comes naturally to me, and I’m really comfortable with being in front of people and presenting in front of people. Performing when I was younger has helped my confidence grow, so it makes me feel comfortable talking to people and ...

End of the Quarter

https://pin.it/3y1RMXe COVID 19 has forced the schools to close for the safety of the students. Many of us are bothered because of the modular learning platform for us to continue our educational training. This quarter had been tough for me, especially in the first weeks. Studying alone is not easy coz we are engaged in the usual way of learning. Another problem is the lack of proper equipment and internet connection. But as days go by we get to use in the new way of learning. I have learned this quarter, I didn’t expect that I am going to enjoy the lessons creating a log and sharing your thoughts to others is such a nice way to covey your feelings. Another exciting part of this quarter is...

The Wake Up Call

https://pin.it/3dSDv8a  The COVID-19 pandemic sweeping across the world is a crisis of our own making. What’s more, human-caused climate change is making this worse.  While we protect ourselves, I would encourage everyone to do as much as possible to also protect nature during this hard time and to be conscious about your impact. Even if we are in our houses we can still take care of our nature even in just little things. Don’t let this pandemic be a hindrance in helping our nature. In the other way around this pandemic gave our nature a break. From a reported drastic improvement in air pollution levels in parts of the world, to the water in canals is some urban areas said to clearing for the first time in decades, from wild...

Shaddered Sanctuary

Https://pin.it/tfmfYP4                   The Philippines often experiences natural disasters becuase it is located near the Pacfic Ring of Fire. In the late months a number of earthquakes shudder some parts of the country. While there were said major damage or loss of living, these happenings could point to what they said “the big one” as the main Philippine faultlines have been triggered.         For us in the Ivory Tower it is best to be equipped and timely for all prospects, because no one can tell when disasters will happen. Schools cannot be shut in advance due to earthquakes; nor can we hang up when there is typhoons. However, with proper guidance and early planning , every one in our academe can be prepared to react suitably during and after the existence of an earthquake. The best tactic is to initiate an emergency plan and impliment earthquake drills so we can impart in the knowledge of the students to do the...

We are living amidst the greatest threat in our lifetime education and this threat is the educational crisis. Starting of the school year late disturb the lives of students, teachers and parents. The department of education is doing a lot of efforts to reduce the burden of the students, one is the use of modular learning and remote learning strategies. Parents will also be involve in their children’s education process and the department of...

Smiles Painted On Our Face

Image
Resilience is the best word to describe the filipino people in times of hardship. Many people around the world paint us as a cluster of smiling faces amid the face of hard times. This display a national representation of  a sturdy nation, a nation who bounces back swiftly with a gag and smile as their weapon.  This sight somehow raise the courage of every person that everything will be all right soon. For me resilience has also been argumentative. Many people be likely to dismiss hardships that we are dealing in our daily lives. Since we are “matatag” we often ignore the threat in an arrival of another occasion and always do the samething over again. If you protest about the problem people may see you weak or “maarte”, well people won’t help ,  they will pull you down even more and that is one of the worst attitude of filipinos “ crab mentality”.  As our nation face different natural phenomena our Government move beyond the immediate response to the affected areas. O...
